I've always been interested in learning about the stories that weave together the fabric of urban life. Since I was fifteen, my jobs have taken me from health care and customer service to urban research and journalism. But throughout it all, I've always enjoyed gaining a deeper connection with and telling the stories of the people I'm serving.

I got my start in journalism while working at the University of Calgary's student-run newspaper, The Gauntlet, where I won a national award for my writing on urban issues.

You'll never find me without my handy camera or a cup of tea.

Kind words.

We highly recommend Mariah, she is so amazing! She made our day with all of the photos she had taken. She is so patient and friendly, outgoing and everyone at our wedding felt comfortable around her! As soon as I met her I knew she was perfect for our wedding.

She is so understanding when we had to switch our ceremony due to the rain and we were running behind. She even went and got a lighter for our send-off.

Thank you for everything!

You did an amazing job! As a bride not having to worry about the photographer being on time and respectful and committed is so important!! I can't thank you enough for your professionalism!
